Description
• Play a key role in driving towards IPO readiness including S-1 preparations. • Research and prepare technical accounting positions for significant accounting policies. • Proactively collaborate cross-functionally to identify accounting implications of transactions. • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new accounting pronouncements. • Assist with audits, preparing technical accounting work papers for auditors. • Document financial processes, accounting policies, and procedures. • Support SOX compliance efforts and assist in control procedure improvements. • Participate in and help lead essential accounting projects. • Draft, update, and maintain the Company’s accounting policies. • Provide training on technical accounting matters to internal Finance and Accounting group. • Conduct and document technical accounting research related to new business initiatives. • Perform ad hoc projects, analysis, and reporting as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA required. • 9+ years of experience in auditing and technical accounting; Pre-IPO to IPO experience preferred. • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Product, and Sales. • Strong analytical skills; proven ability to independently analyze transactions and contracts. • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Netsuite. • A team player with a commitment to deliver outstanding results while having a fun time.
