Description
• New York based 200-person trading firm seeks a Trading Operations Engineer to provide technical operations support for US and UK based desks. This individual is part of the firm’s Technology division but sits on the trading desk and is embedded in the technical operations processes of the firm. The task set is roughly split evenly between desk facing activities and light coding tasks often in collaboration with full-time development staff.
Requirements
• Some computer programming experience is preferred • Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities • Experience with Python, bash and MySQL on Linux is required • Excellent communication skills
Benefits
• Range reflects annual base salary. Total compensation packages are comprised of base salary and a discretionary bonus.
