Description

• Falcon Rappaport & Berkman is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to assist in the areas of Estate Litigation and Estate Administration. • Falcon Rappaport & Berkman is a rapidly-growing law firm focusing on the transactional areas of Real Estate, Estate Planning and Administration, Taxation, and Corporate matters. • The firm also has a robust civil litigation wing. • As our business expands, so does our need for assistance to our partners in managing matters requiring specialized expertise.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience at a law firm performing work in both estate litigation and estate administration, including regular direct contact with clients and primary responsibility for complex matters. • Ability to handle routine aspects of Surrogate’s Court litigation independently and proactively. • Familiarity with all aspects of Microsoft Office, with a particular emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; mastery of Microsoft Office preferred. • Experience with matters of Tax or Elder Law. • Demonstrable history of project management or supervision and training of younger staff. • Experience with matters of Corporate or Real Estate law. • Prior experience clerking at any Surrogate’s Court a major plus. • Experience with Clio a plus. • Fluency in any language other than English a plus.
