Description

• Employment Law & Compliance Program Manager ensuring compliance with employment law mandates • Proactively manage employment laws throughout the implementation lifecycle • Collaborate with legal to maintain compliance best practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of direct employment law experience, preferably in a startup setting • Strong knowledge of state and federal employment regulations • Experience building and improving workplace policies and practices • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a comprehensive manner • Proven ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to effectively research information through online resources • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Outstanding project management and organizational skills, with a focus on continuous process improvements and attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to track and analyze results-driven data • Strategic thinker and hands-on team player (no job is too small or too large), willing to take on additional responsibilities • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and innovative business • Experience collaborating with areas such as human resources, operations, and legal • Ability to maintain confidential information
