Description

• Develop understanding of financial services investment strategies and learn skillsets that will drive success in client roles across seniority • Connect the dots between client priorities, investment strategy execution, and market trends to build events based on these topics • Search for, vet, and maintain relationships with experienced speakers and subject matter experts/consultants across topics of interest to our clients to interview on pertinent topics in different event formats • Recruit Network Members (subject matter experts) for fresh perspectives in programming • Demonstrate sound editorial judgement, including selecting event topics and speakers to curate conversations that clients find relevant and compelling • Execute and moderate events and ensure all events meet GLG’s quality standards • Cultivate communities of likeminded client event users around common areas of interest, and teach others to do the same • Draft compelling marketing materials to highlight the interviewee and subject matter to be utilized both internally to business development/client service teams and directly to GLG clients • Moderate and host virtual and in-person events between Network Member experts and GLG clients • Support team efforts to collaborate with Client Solutions, Business Development, and other internal teams to drive value for financial services clients • Help team efforts to add value as subject matter experts across GLG

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related work experience in financial services research or content focused on public and/or private markets. Also open to relevant professional development focused curation / facilitation experience. • A strong editorial point of view based on experience with how investors work and think • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills • Interest in joining a dynamic, growing events business • Must be able to collaborate across teams, exert influence and work within an organization • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit • Must be organized and adaptable
