• Answer questions about accounting practices, tax forms, deductions, credits, and other back-office related questions. • Assist customers in navigating our bookkeeping platform, tax preparation checklists and software, and ensure they're on the right track. • Develop familiarity with the business processes and financing / accounting best practices underpinning Heard in order to answer basic questions related to these functions. • Create a welcoming and supportive experience for every customer interaction.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). • Minimum 1 year of experience in a tax or accounting role, preferably with SMB sole proprietors and S Corps. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner. • Demonstrated product or customer service experience, preferably in a SaaS B2B setting. • Familiarity with modern ticketing, customer engagement, and CMS solutions within customer service environments such as Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, or Help Scout. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
