Description

•Provide technical guidance and leadership on large technical projects •Conduct research and technical analysis of new technologies •Provide technical advice and act as a role model •Contribute to, define and track project level work on large projects •Deliver technical training on Hootsuite technology & product stack •Enhance development, build, deployment, and monitoring processes •Deliver process improvements for team adoption •Participate in technical hiring process and interview scripts

Requirements

•Professional experience in your field, with a minimum of 2 roles or companies •Experience in leading design, development, and deployment of multiple systems or products •Ability to think in terms of optimal technical solutions for business problems •Effective collaboration on business problems with non-technical peers •Experience mentoring, coaching, and pairing with coworkers •Experience conducting technical interviews with developers at various levels •Ability to plan, articulate, and gain alignment on a technical vision •Ability to advocate for technical direction/frameworks beyond Hootsuite •Proven ability to deliver customer value and innovative solutions •Ability to recognize and communicate broad technical issues and contribute ideas •Open communication skills •Effective decision making •Ability to influence and persuade •Strong priority setting •Organized problem solving approach
