Description

• Align with the Partnership leadership team to build a cohesive joint strategy with aligned goals and success metrics. • Understand and align our target partner account list and develop a strategy and execution plan for partner enablement and joint demand generation. • Develop and deliver partner enablement assets jointly with Sales enablement and partner teams. Develop plan to accelerate enablement and adoption of Kong within partner salesforce. • Develop an effective communications framework that informs partners of everything Kong, including product launches, platform updates, new assets, enablement programs and events, demand generation campaigns and field events, social media promotion, and more. Maintain the list of partner contacts and grow it with each additional partner account target. • Oversee the planning, execution, and performance of partnership programs and marketing campaigns to drive demand generation. • Promote our global partnership marketing program to partner target accounts. • Collaborate with the Partner Team to prioritize the partner focus for marketing programs, provide the right level of enablement, and develop demand generation plans per partner. • Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to design partnership collaterals, including presentations, emails, brochures, case studies, etc. • Collaborate with the demand generation and field marketing teams to develop partner specific campaigns and events as well as identifying joint demand generation activities with partners in regional geographies. • Measure, track, and communicate results periodically to the Marketing team, Partner team, and partners. • And any additional tasks required by manager.

Requirements

• Excellent written communication and verbal skills. • Dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset. • 5+ years of marketing experience in a partner-facing role. • Technical skills set to quickly ramp up on Kong’s API platform and be able to demonstrate its value to partners during the enablement phase. • Experience marketing Software infrastructure platform to partner audience. • Ability to own and drive meetings across multiple organizations and functional teams. • Self-motivated, ambitious, and autonomous individual who excels at collaborating with others to achieve and exceed results.
