Description
• Work in an automated driving technology company developing a hands-free, eyes-off driver assist system for next-generation Ford vehicles at scale • Collaborate with experts in machine learning and robotics, cloud platforms, mapping, sensors and compute systems, test operations, systems and safety engineering • Architect, design, and implement state of the art and beyond solutions in domains including Sensing, Machine Learning & Data Platform, Mapping, Labeling, State Estimation, Localization, Calibration, and Performance • Develop production quality software in a fast-paced, highly autonomous environment while maintaining a strong safety culture
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ECE, Robotics, Physics, Mathematics, or related field • Significant (7+ years) prior experience in one or more of the domains listed above, or in another domain of relevancy to the autonomous vehicles space • Significant (7+ years) of experience in C++ or Python software development • Track record of product development culminating in successful launches/releases/etc. • Master’s or PhD degree in Robotics, ECE, Computer Science, or a related field (nice to have) • Track record of technical leadership (not limited to management) taking products or large features from research to consumer release (nice to have)
