Description
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and production of electronic products. • Oversee the engineering department’s daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to ensure successful product development and manufacturing. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. • Lead the development of engineering project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management. • Ensure that all engineering efforts comply with regulatory and industry standards, including ISO, IPC, and other relevant guidelines. • Implement and manage product lifecycle management (PLM) processes, ensuring documentation, testing, and manufacturing readiness. • Provide technical leadership and problem-solving expertise to address complex engineering challenges in electronics manufacturing. • Develop and implement strategies for new product introduction (NPI), ensuring a smooth transition from prototype to mass production. • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure customer satisfaction. • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
