Support product, portfolio and innovation strategy while partnering with the Senior Director. Lead with data + insights, include market analysis, consumer insights, and commercial opportunities. Oversee presentation of all new launches updates / proposals for both Retail and Pro. Track and analyze amika product launch performance for key learnings and future application. Monitor, manage and optimize performance of new products once in the market. Drive COGs analyses and propose suitable formula/packaging/sizing/pricing in accordance with financial objectives. Ensure financial viability on new projects by partnering with finance on COGs and international pricing strategy. Lead the development of best-in-class dynamic product marketing presentations for internal and external use. Analyze market trends and brand/product performance to inform innovation / portfolio decisions.

Requirements

10+ years of relevant Product Marketing & Development experience with demonstrated expertise within the professional haircare industry; professional service experience ideal but not required. 3+ years of supervisory experience. Experience with global innovation + product marketing, claims development and product storytelling. Strong analytical thinking and business acumen. Ability to distill action from insights + market research into strategy. Creative thinker with a love for culture + innovation. Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity + creating processes + collaborative partnerships to set up a high growth brand for success. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills. Proficient in marketing analytics tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A hands-on self-starter with strong organizational skills who is comfortable with fast turnarounds and tight timelines. Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and creative skills. Proactive approach – take initiative to do what is needed for the business. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mainly Excel + PowerPoint) and similar programs. MUST have professional haircare brand experience, pro services Ideal but not required.
