Description

• The Accounting Manager oversees the month-end close process. • They oversee the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting. • The Accounting Manager will supervise a team and provide guidance and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or relevant field • CPA/CMA certification (or close to completing) • 4-5 years of experience in full function accounting role • 6 years industry, public accounting experience • Experience managing direct reports • Experience with Payroll compliance • Strong Excel skills with ability to build reports and models • F&B Retail, Direct to Consumer and CPG experience • NetSuite experience is a plus • Ability to work independently, with a team and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that emphasizes accuracy and timeliness • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Technical knowledge of GAAP • Willingness to jump in and help when needed • Experience in implementing process and change agent in organization • Be unafraid to contribute ideas and spark inspiration and action • Be entrepreneurial in spirit • Proven ability to be nimble, dynamic, and able to adjust to changing business needs
