2 - 10

Description

• Design, experiment, and build UIs, flows, features, and layers of abstraction that decrease the amount of work users have to do • Expand use case coverage of core authorization service • Build and operate infrastructure for the highly available and low latency cloud service

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer • Worked at a startup or similar environment • Worked on developer experience and/or user experience • Ability to program at different levels of the stack – i.e., frontend and backend, web app to lower level systems • Seek out and give critical feedback • Prioritize team success over the success of any one project • Comfortable exploring product ideas through design, hacks and guides before building something fully baked • Want to understand end users' world and prioritize solving their authorization problems above everything else, including your own personal preferences and the elegance of the solution.

Benefits

• Join a company at a stage late enough that the problem and solution are de-risked, but early enough that you can shape the product, company, and market • Work towards solving a problem that could potentially create the next $25B+ dollar market: the authorization market • Opportunity to build UIs, flows, and layers of abstraction that decrease the amount of work users have to do • Build and operate infrastructure for a highly available and low latency cloud service • Collaborate with a team that has met with thousands of engineering teams in this market and has a customer-centric approach to building • Work with and learn from investors such as Sequoia, the founder of Datadog, CEO of MongoDB, and many more • Work in an equal opportunity work environment that prioritizes results over process and where everyone is an Engineer with compensation commensurate with contribution.
