• Develop a strategic Data Science strategy and roadmap for Supply Chain and Member Support, consulting with your leaders and cross-functional partners • Ensure company and focus areas KPIs are well defined and tracked • AI Strategy informed by an understanding of current technology and where it can be most effectively leveraged • Provide strategic guidance for business leaders, informed by thoughtful analysis and business understanding. Advise on which questions to ask. • Planning & Prioritization: Lead quarterly planning and roadmaps for Supply Chain and Global Member Support Data Science, ensuring commitments are clear and results are broadly communicated • Teamwork: Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholder teams and other data teams, especially Supply Chain Analytics and Data Engineering. • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry standard processes and new technologies in analytics and data science, and implement improvements as needed • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing data science team • Talent Density: Lead hiring for the Data Science team • Continuously maintain and uplevel high-performance standards across your team • Deliver effective measurement strategies designed to deliver actionable insights • Deliver high value insights and actionable recommendations by sharing your team's analysis and executive summaries. Present to leadership regularly • Provide strategic guidance for Product strategy, informed by deep user and business understanding. Advise on which questions to ask.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in decision science, business analytics, data science, software engineering, or related field • 3+ years of leadership experience, leading teams and individual contributors • Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams and establishing relationships across departments • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL). • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau). • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL tools (e.g. Airflow, dbt). • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. • Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.
