Description

• Strategize, design, and automate high-volume, batch, and real-time ETL pipelines on AWS • Design and execute test plans to validate the accuracy and completeness of data • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams • Deploy backend production processes with focus on high availability, robustness, and monitoring • Build and improve workflow orchestration tooling • Establish data quality assurance steps for new and existing pipelines • Work with external APIs to read/enhance data • Implement source code management tools and repositories • Troubleshoot issues promptly • Actively participate in team discussions about technology/architecture/solutions • Collaborate on improving code and pipeline efficiency

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, modeling, data processing, and data warehousing • Proficiency in Python, Scala • Deep knowledge of AWS technologies and Infrastructure as Code • Hands-on coding experience in unit testing, test-driven development, SQL, and NoSQL databases • Understanding of data structures, data transformation, validation, and data performance tuning • Proficiency with SQL on RDBMS, Redshift, Data Lake technologies • Experience supporting ML/AI projects • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
