• Own the paid media performance for all of Bankrate driving key down funnel results • Develop new strategies for Bankrate to penetrate into new markets and expand in existing markets • Test, innovate, and build custom solutions with our world-class digital marketing, data science, and big data talent. • Build out the testing roadmaps for our Paid Media teams to execute against and ensure we deliver against core business KPIs. • Leverage our proprietary primary source marketing stack to report on everything across the funnel with key insights to shape core business strategy. • Manage a team of Paid Media professionals providing coaching, development, and adequate career support while getting the most out of our paid accounts. • Own strategic relationships with key paid media vendors • Develop comprehensive competitor insights to outline areas of opportunity in our current paid media ecosystem
• Ability to work at Red Ventures’ Corporate Headquarters in Fort Mill, SC (South Charlotte) three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays or in Red Ventures New York Office. • Ability to work from home on Mondays and Fridays (Optional). • A self-starting, proven performer with at least 5 years of experience in Paid Media, preferably in the Financial Services industry. • Exceptional knowledge and background of SEM and driving down funnel results through paid tactics. • A proven leader and developer of talent with a track record of driving strong performance and growth from your team. • Always curious, with strong communication skills, confidence, and the ability to work with a variety of different, and cross-functional, teams. • Passionate about innovating in paid media, don’t accept theories at face value, and enjoy testing to prove the effectiveness of tactics. • Innovative, on-the-spot, creative problem solver who demonstrates both technical and analytical skills; candidates must be comfortable measuring, interpreting, and making fast-paced decisions based on large volumes of sales and marketing performance data. • Very comfortable working in the weeds with data using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Looker/Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and other common reporting platforms. • Comfortable working with business leaders in forecasting, budgeting, sensitivity analysis, and business modeling. • Diligent in tracking your competitive landscape and using this knowledge to inform areas of opportunity for Red Ventures to capitalize. • Interested in full funnel testing and page optimization.
