Description

• Provide the leadership, strategy and vision to develop a comprehensive communications strategy for both internal and external audiences to elevate ResortPass’ brand position and awareness • Shape the core brand identity and messaging strategy, ensuring alignment with company values and goals. • Lead all facets of communications including consumer and B2B. • Codify key thought leadership topics and execute a roadmap to build ResortPass’ credibility. • Own and develop a strategy for executive thought leadership that elevates the company and CEO’s profile. • Directly manage the relationship with our PR firm to secure regular, high impact earned media. • Drive campaign development across various channels to help ResortPass increase cultural relevance, awareness, and overall conversion with both consumers and B2B audiences. • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform brand strategy and maintain our first-mover position in the market. • Be a steward of the brand internally and externally, ensuring all channels and departments are working toward the same brand vision and brand personality comes across in everything we do. • Lead consumer research and messaging development, creating a constant stream of insights to iterate on how we talk to consumers and evolve the brand. • Write and develop key messaging and marketing copy for high visibility marketing channels and campaigns. • Support on influencer, brand partnership, organic social and other brand channel initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Outstanding leadership skills and an ability to work with different stakeholders and teams at all levels, across functions and drive change. • Strong Communication and Executive Presence: You have excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and intuitive communications. • Bias for Action: You move quickly and don’t overthink things when they don’t need to be. • Scrappy: You’re willing to get your hands dirty and think creatively to get things done in an early stage startup environment • Take Ownership: You own your results – the good and the bad – and take insights and learnings to heart that can continue propelling your work forward. • Expert at Your Craft: You’re a seasoned brand and comms marketer who comes to the table with a point of view, deep expertise, and strong industry contacts. • Thrive in Ambiguity: You’re used to making sense of open and less structured mandates and turning them into something successful. • Humility: You have an opinion, but aren’t afraid to be proven wrong and are open to suggestions on what tool or technique is best to most efficiently solve a problem. • A minimum of 10 years experience in communications and/or brand roles, with at least several spent in a startup environment and in a leadership position. • You’re a good person.
