• Oversee and supervise the program, ensuring compliance with Roads to Success standards • Assist in staff hiring and provide ongoing support, supervision, and evaluation of staff • Ensure all program elements are delivered on schedule, managing outreach, recruitment, application, enrollment, and retention processes • Utilize positive youth development principles to foster growth and build self-esteem • Plan and organize program activities to achieve contractual goals and performance targets • Meet with parents and facilitate planning and conducting staff and program orientation sessions • Approve timesheets bi-weekly and ensure proper staff coverage • Follow all Roads to Success protocols regarding safety, supervision, and incident reporting • Conduct participant and parent orientations and attend required organizational and training sessions
• A degree in Education or related field or NYS School Age Childcare Credential • At least two years of experience in supervision and program development • At least three years of experience in administering youth programming • At least four years of direct experience in an academic/recreation setting • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, One Drive, and Google Docs • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication and writing abilities • Ability to multi-task, meet set deadlines, and work well with others • Willingness to go above and beyond program requirements for the safety and benefit of participants
