• Full-time position reporting to Executive Director • Critical role in ensuring safety and security of school community • Maintaining secure learning environment for students and staff
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field • 5+ years experience in security management • Strong leadership and management skills • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Familiarity with security laws and regulations • Familiarity with security grant programs • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and emergency response protocols desirable
• Oversees and manages security team • Provides leadership, guidance, and direction to security staff • Conducts regular training and drills • Develops and implements security protocols • Monitors security personnel and supervises posts • Conducts security assessments • Oversees monitoring of school premises • Manages vetting process for guests and visitors • Coordinates safe arrival and dismissal of students • Develops emergency response plans • Works closely with law enforcement and emergency responders
