Description

• Work closely with the VP of Infrastructure and Operations to develop cybersecurity strategies • Design, implement, and manage security systems and tools • Establish and enforce security policies and procedures • Oversee and manage security incidents and breaches • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices • Maintain partnerships with key security vendors • Must respond to major security events during and after business hours • Participate in maintenance protocols to mitigate disruptions

Requirements

• Proven track record of 5+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a lead role • Strong knowledge and experience with PCI, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP • Expertise in various cloud providers, operating systems, platforms, security protocols, tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection. Preferred: Windows, Mac, Ubuntu Linux, Kubernetes, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, DarkTrace, SDLC • Knowledge of incident response processes and forensic analysis techniques • Understanding of system hardening, network security, and cryptography • Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) • Strong verbal and communication skills to be able to succinctly convey security posture, incidents, and improvements to senior management and other stakeholders • A tactical yet strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Adaptable and resilient in a rapidly changing environment
