Description
• Design and develop the data platform to efficiently and cost-effectively address various data needs across the business • Lead development of the Enterprise Data Lake focusing on the business needs • Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to make data easily accessible and understandable to them • Provide leadership and mentorship to data Engineering staff
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of architecture experience • 5+ years of experience with cloud data technologies such as Snowflake, GCP, Temporal, Postgres, and ClickHouse • Lead the transformation of our data utilization mindset and practices through proactive exploratory analytics, quantitative analysis, and advanced data mining techniques • Define the vision, requirements, and lead development of the Enterprise Data Lake focusing on the business needs • Inform and influence the overall Enterprise Data technology vision • Develops conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and supports the development of data strategies by building roadmaps and creating processes to meet current and future needs • Spearhead initiatives focused on optimizing the scalability, resilience, and reliability of our data architecture • Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to make data easily accessible and understandable to them. • Develop and enforce data engineering, security, data quality standards through automation • Be responsible for cloud cost and improving efficiency • Provides leadership and mentorship to data Engineering staff
