Description

• Discover and analyze data across all aspects of ShipBob’s business. • Identify high impact business opportunities through data exploration and model prototypes. • Hands-on development and operation of machine learning models. • Collaborate with product management and engineering for new features. • Mentor engineers by promoting best practices and technical decision-making. • Present work internally through demos and reports. • Additional duties as necessary.

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience (data scientist, ML engineer, tech lead). • Excellent track record of designing, prototyping, scaling and launching data science products. • Deep understanding of Machine Learning lifecycle and best practices. • Experience collaborating with stakeholders from various business functions. • Excellent coding skills in Python and familiarity with software engineering principles. • Fundamental understanding of data engineering practices. • Ability to take a product-oriented mindset. • Established ability to communicate clearly to varying technical levels. • Experience in supply chain or logistics a plus. • Familiarity with C# a plus.
