Description

• The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with the management and reporting of the company’s revenue. This role includes processing and recording revenue transactions, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. • What you'll be doing: - Revenue Recognition - Month-End Close - Billing and Invoicing - Compliance and Auditing - Financial Analysis and Reporting - Collaboration • What success looks like in this role: - Complete monthly financial close within 5 business days. - Ensure monthly revenue recognition is accurate, minimize the number of audit findings and correction - Reconcile balance sheet accounts on time on a monthly basis - Support on audit and ensure audit is completed by on time - Encourages proactive enhancement of accounting processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 1-2 years of experience in revenue accounting or related fields. • Knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles. • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills, Netsuite experience is preferred • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and ability to work independently. • Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment and thrives on challenges
