• Seeking a highly skilled General Counsel to provide legal advice and guidance • Overseeing a legal team of two • Working mostly remotely with occasional meetings in New York
Requirements
• Law degree from an accredited institution • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, preferably as in-house counsel • Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and intellectual property • Experience with technology and/or software companies is a plus • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously • Demonstrated ability to mitigate legal risks and protect company interests • High ethical standards and integrity
