• Segment and target new audiences and introduce them to our website, newsletters, and subscription offerings, in coordination with our subscription and product leads • Create and execute partnerships, paid marketing, earned media, and social media campaigns for new audio and video projects, including our flagship podcast, Honestly • Plan multi-platform go-to-market strategies for limited audio shows, video series, and livestream products • In coordination with the events team, develop marketing strategies for our live events business to drive ticket sales, awareness and response • Manage campaigns with our social media, communications and editorial teams around news events that affect all channels of our business • Develop and manage an analytical framework to track effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and prepare deliverables with future recommendations on an ongoing basis • Think creatively and proactively to drive merchandise campaigns in order to build brand awareness.
• Be an excellent writer and communicator with a strong ability to articulate our values and voice across different audiences and channels • Thorough understanding of independent media and news media landscape • Track record of building and executing omnichannel marketing campaigns • Analytics and reporting experience and familiarity with tools such as GA • Enthusiastic and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and independent • Sense of humor is a plus! • An embrace of a scrappy start-up environment with a willingness to jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed
