Description
• Help shape our infrastructure, technical architecture, and engineering best practices. • Drive decisions that influence the product design and application functionality. • Tackle key challenges that come with rapidly scaling an application. • Develop high-quality production code and provide thorough code reviews to other engineers. • Work closely with the CEO and the engineering team to shape the engineering culture. • Find creative solutions to problems that come with tapping into a new market and a rapidly scaling user base. Some examples include minimizing customer support outreach volume and personalizing item recommendations for each user.
Requirements
• 5+ years of professional work experience as an engineer • Professional experience building and deploying high quality web applications across the full stack • Proficient in React Native and Python • Experience working with cloud services, ideally AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, AppSync, etc.) • Collaborative working style with a strong focus on execution and results Nice to have • Experience working on an engineering team at a fast-paced startup • Experience scaling a tech stack
