Description

• Responsibility: • Manage Product Backlog: Formulating the list of backlog items and prioritising them as per the critical business objectives. • Provide effective communication to the stakeholders of the project: The BAis the central communicator between the development team and the stakeholders. • They need to be clear and concise communicators to ensure there is approval of the stakeholders for all major decisions and strategies. • Create and Maintain Change Requests Associated with the Product: Predominantly an Operational task. The BA will gather and prioritise operational changes and include them within the Product Backlog for future sprint iteration. • Define Acceptance Criteria for their Product: The BA must know what they want their product features to achieve.Having strongly defined acceptance criteria is vital to ensure • that the Product performs to the expected standard. A/C's should always be confirmed with Stakeholders and will be used as a baseline for QA to test against. • Gap Analysis: By comparing the current state of a business to the desired future state, The BA may identify gaps or areas for improvement. This helps in defining project objectives and goals. • Change Management: The BA will help manage and support the changes brought about by their or BRO recommendations. This can involve developing change management plans, conducting training sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition to new processes or systems. • Gather Functional and non Functional Requirements: The BA will ensure that all requirements are gathered and that they meet the Product Managers expectations. • Verify Requirements: Once the requirements, functional and non functional, have been gathered from the Stakeholder the BA will confirm and agree that the requirements are fit for purpose and use.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience BA/Product Manager • experience with web dev • Product development architecture • Scrum and Agile development methodologies • User experience principles • Product backlog management • Coding and designing (nice to have)
