Description
• Reporting to the Controller, as a Wild Alaskan Accountant you’ll be a responsive, friendly problem-solver. • Get our vendors paid on time while maintaining impeccable documentation and process compliance. • Play a key role in supporting timely preparation of financial statements each month. • Be part of a small team that embraces continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or economics or equivalent professional experience. • 2+ years of related accounting experience. • Understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of accounting functions. • Excellent attention to detail, impeccable accuracy, and strong organizational skills. • Familiarity with at least one accounting platform. • Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate with teammates. • Proven ability to succeed in a dynamic environment. • Spreadsheet skills: pivot tables, conditional aggregation, summary statistics, advanced visualization and reporting.
