Description

• Apply the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) to perform, reconcile, analyze and monitor the full scope of financial activities in compliance with Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB), the U.S. Treasury, Office of Management and Budget, and other accounting standard-setting organizations. • Develop/advise on new or existing policies or procedures to improve accounting processes. • Independently manage key operational accounting activities. • Performing special projects and ad hoc support budgetary accounting, financial systems, and other fiscal operations support. • Performing the agency's "Monthly Execution Report (MER) by object classification code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. • 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related role. • Knowledge of federal financial management and funds control. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
