Description

• The Salesperson will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of B Riley research, offerings and services • Direct contact with Institutional Investors to facilitate meetings, conference calls, deliver written research, and develop business relationships • Generating revenue exceeding firm's goals • Strong communication skills to communicate investment ideas to clients and sales force • Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner • Arranging and participating in meetings with key account staff • Training and supervision of sales assistants

Requirements

• 6 or more years relevant experience • Series 7 and 63 license required • Bachelor’s degree and 6 or more years of financial services or sales experience, with majority in Institutional Sales • Excellent verbal and written communications, negotiations skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to supervise junior staff
