• Assist in developing ad hoc reporting and dashboards; run various analysis as needed. • Prepare wire/check requests for all event related payments. • Manage event staffing reporting and analysis. • Assist with developmental event expense estimates. • Keep track of event related invoices. • Generate purchase orders. • Occasionally assist with night-of show event settlements. • Coordinate with various departments to promote efficiency, communication and cost savings. • Assist with the month-end and year-end close process. • Assist with month-end reconciliation of intercompany balances between BSE entities. • Provide additional support as needed for rest of Finance divisions (Accounting, Brooklyn Nets/New York Liberty Finance, etc).
• 1 year of experience in a Finance-related position, including internships. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required. • Entertainment industry and/or live show production experience is a plus. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to nested formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions (knowledge of Excel Macro/Adaptive/Netsuite; VBA experience is a plus). • Possess a proven understanding of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. • Must have flexibility to work events taking place on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
