Description

• Lead efforts to generate new business opportunities, forecast and drive sales, and achieve revenue targets through effective customer understanding, market analysis, pricing strategies, and negotiation. • Identify and evaluate the best potential strategic partners, including consumer product manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, retailers, industry influencers and collaborators, to expand market reach. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs, challenges, and market trends to position our products effectively. • Create and execute a comprehensive business development plan aligned with company goals, identifying key target markets, customers, and opportunities for growth. • Create appropriate strategies and solutions to ensure a market advantage and competitive edge including market research at the industry, market, and economic levels, and the development of customer based research and analysis. • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform business strategies and identify emerging opportunities for growth. • Work closely with multiple cross-functional teams from R&D to Marketing and beyond to ensure alignment of business development initiatives with product development, marketing campaigns, and operational capabilities. • Serve as a brand ambassador for the company, representing our values, vision, and product offerings at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and client meetings. • Serve as a thought partner to the Executive Team on issues relating to business development and sales, including the best avenues for growth, market opportunities, and forecasting data to drive strategy and decisions towards business development. Perform other duties, as assigned by the Executive Team. • Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of business development activities, providing regular reports and insights to senior management. • The ability to drive and manage messaging, capitalize on touchpoints, provide frontline feedback and direct teams to develop materials needed in support of selling.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, ideally within relevant industries • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, negotiating complex deals, and cultivating strategic partnerships • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Energy, passion and enthusiasm for your work that is infectious and palpable • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
