Description

• Lead commercial relationship development and power-marketing efforts for utility-scale team • Develop commercial thesis for each market and inform development and acquisition strategies • Represent New Leaf Energy to customers and partners • Research potential customers and partners, prepare marketing materials, and lead outreach • Engage with project developers to develop offtake origination strategies • Screen and lead bid package preparations in response to offtake opportunities • Develop innovative partnerships and deal structures for project sales and financing • Consider offtake opportunities from future counterparty perspective and facilitate partnerships

Requirements

• 8+ years of work experience, 5+ years in utility scale renewable development or related • Participated in successfully negotiated PPA or BTA • Knowledge of structuring and negotiating offtake deals • Knowledge of U.S. utility-scale solar development and power markets • Stay current with changing technologies, regulations, and trends in renewable energy • Ability to adapt to new tasks in dynamic environment • Excellent interpersonal, time management, communication, and relationship building skills • Strong personal relationships and reputation in power or renewable energy industry • Willingness to travel up to 25% to support business needs
