Description

• Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise for clients and worksite employees; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. • Educate clients in employment law compliance and provide guidance in the process of talent acquisition of managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborate with clients to understand skills and competencies required for openings. • Manage EPLI claims submitted and assist with gathering documents needed to support the claim, in some case may assist with the development of a position statement. • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure client attracts and retain top talent. • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to ensure compliance measures are met. • Guide clients in matters of employee performance, disciplinary action, and terminations. • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning for the HR Services department. • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. • Oversee the department’s talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified HR Generalists. • Develop team KPIs to support business initiatives. • Manage team’s performance and execute disciplinary action when needed. • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field or 8-10 years’ experience in a Senior level HR/Employee Relations role. • SPHR, PHR, and/or SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP certification • Broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and administrative skills • Experienced presenter with groups of 10-15 management-level participants • PEO Experience
