• Assist the VP of People Operations with day-to-day operations.
• Support HR functions including benefits, compliance, and employee engagement.
• Maintain HR programs and complete special projects as needed.

Recruitment

Schedule and conduct interviews while supporting recruitment for healthcare positions.

• Schedule and conduct interviews, reference checks, and extend offers of employment
• Support the employment function as a resource for employees and applicants regarding open positions, selection processes, and general HR information
• Process position requisitions, applications, resumes, and internal job postings
• Utilize an applicant tracking system to track applicant and statistics
• Administer pre-employment testing, check references, and verify licenses/certifications
• Partner with division representatives and follow up with candidates
• Continually improve automation of employment function using current technology
• Develop and utilize recruitment strategies
• Coordinate events and attend job fairs as required
• Manage criminal background check process
• Participate in Company recruitment and retention efforts

Recruiter

Conduct UAS assessments for service needs and eligibility in healthcare settings.

• Conduct UAS assessments at intervals required by the Department of Health (DOH) to determine service needs and continued eligibility
• Coordinate with Care Management Team to maintain a high level of efficient and effective individualized Care Management operations
• Provide weekly work availability to our UAS coordinator
• Notify our UAS coordinator promptly of scheduling delays or conflicts
• Schedule appointments within 24 hours of case assignment
• The UAS assessment process must be completed within 7 days of the case assignment
• After finishing an assessment, the case must be transmitted and related paperwork must be completed and submitted within 24 hours
• Conduct quality assurance checks on all completed documents before finalizing and sending them
• Abide by and promote our agency’s administrative policies
• Attend meetings and training as required
• Maintain current and active Health Commerce System access
• Maintain a continuing knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession by participating in formal education programs, conferences, workshops, and professional organizations
• All consent and original intake assessment documents must be submitted within 5 days via mail or dropped off at a health home location
• Original vouchers for payment must be submitted bi-weekly

Registered Nurse - UAS Assessor

Perform nursing procedures under the guidance of the Director of Patient Services.

• Assist with the preparation, implementation, and continuing evaluation of the nursing care plan in a client's home
• Observe, record, and report to the appropriate person, the patient’s symptoms, reactions, and changes in the condition as shown
• Perform selected nursing procedures in keeping with licensures, such as the administration of medications and treatments
• Assist with the rehabilitation of patients according to the patient care plan
• Undertake patient/family teaching for self-care and continuity of care
• Carry out policies of Greater NY Nursing Services, respectively
• Complete, maintain, and submit accurate clinical records and prepare oral reports
• Foster a cooperative effort among personnel by understanding the functions of other people
• Utilize community relationships to contribute to a better public understanding of Agency services
• Provide emergency treatments as directed and shown
