Description
• Counsel the product, engineering, and design teams on employment compliance, wage & hour, employee benefits, marketing, and data privacy. • Research and advise on complex regulatory frameworks. • Contribute to our product suite from brainstorm and ideation through launch. • Support key initiatives across the legal and compliance teams. • Contribute to key initiatives helping to mature our Legal & Compliance team’s functions.
Requirements
• JD degree and a member of a State bar/active license to practice law. • 3+ years of experience in a law firm, government, and/or in-house legal department at a technology company (in-house experience preferred but not required); experience must include employment law. • Experience advising start-ups or providing pragmatic legal guidance related to tech or regulated products.
