Description

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify customer needs and technical requirements. • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, including presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities. • Develop and deliver compelling technical proposals and solution designs that address customer challenges. • Work with clients to understand their business processes and technical requirements, translating these into effective software solutions. • Customize and configure software solutions to meet specific client needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. • Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and suggest enhancements. • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, addressing technical questions and concerns throughout the sales process. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and long-term objectives. • Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and webinars for customers and partners. • Prepare detailed technical proposals, including cost estimates, implementation plans, and technical specifications. • Develop and maintain a library of sales support materials, including case studies, white papers, and technical guides. • Assist in the preparation of RFP/RFI responses, ensuring all technical requirements are thoroughly addressed. • Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation. • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding. • Provide regular updates to sales management on technical sales activities and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role, preferably in the software or technology industry. • A background in land management and ROW projects preferred, but not required • Proven track record of supporting complex software sales and delivering successful customer solutions. • Strong knowledge of software development, cloud computing, SaaS, and enterprise software solutions. • Knowledge of the energy and utilities industry is a bonus. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about customer needs and solutions. • Proficiency in programming languages, databases, and software development methodologies is a plus. • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
