Description

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within state and local government facilities • Research government agencies, departments, and available contracts to align company offerings with their needs • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within the government facilities • Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive proposals and bids • Ensure all proposals meet government requirements and regulations • Do market research to understand government processes, patterns, and upcoming opportunities • Maintain accurate records of all business development activities and opportunities in the company’s CRM system • Report regularly on progress, forecasts, and challenges

Requirements

• College degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field • Strong understanding of government processes and regulations • Minimum of five years of experience in business development, sales, or similar role • Proficiency in CRM software, and Microsoft Excel • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel as needed to meet with government clients and attended events
