Description

• Work closely with business, product and engineering teams to prototype, design, and implement new features • Collect, process and analyze real-time location and electronic health record data at scale using statistical and AI/ML techniques • Expose insights and structured access to data streams for other applications to consume via APIs • Small, cross-functional team responsible for product development from design to support

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing backend systems and APIs using Python or Golang • 2+ years of experience doing project management for scoping, planning, and tracking progress of software projects • 4+ years of experience designing and implementing unit, integration and end to end tests • 2+ years mentoring other engineers on best practices for software development • 2+ years of experience with writing and maintaining infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, C9 or Plumi) for backend services • 2+ years of experience designing, implementing and supporting software systems that deal with sensitive data • 1+ year experience as a member of an on-call rotation for production systems • Ability and willingness to build rough prototypes / demos that include both backend and frontend components for use in validating product and engineering ideas • Strong, willing and consistent verbal and written communicator
