Description
• Responsible for assisting the Department of Investigations with sensitive investigations. • Investigate allegations related to domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violations. • Conduct interviews throughout the U.S. and the Dominican Republic. • Draft detailed investigative reports and analyze documents. • Liaise with law enforcement entities about ongoing investigations. • Provide legal support to other MLB departments as needed.
Requirements
• Fluency in Spanish (oral and written) required. • J.D. and a minimum of 5 years of legal experience required. • Significant experience in investigations required; prosecutorial or similar background preferred. • Strong oral and written communication skills; must be an excellent writer. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint. • Ability to manage deliverables with time-sensitive deadlines. • Intermittent domestic and international travel required, at times on short notice.
