Description

• Manage a team of architects and devops engineers • Ability to transform a user story/concept into a working scalable system • Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, effectively manage priorities, and communicate progress • Drive the adoption of DevOps culture, principles, and practices across the organization, promoting collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement • Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of backend systems • Support the implementation of applications that are fault-tolerant, scalable, and resilient • Suggest and implement best practices and architecture improvements • Collaborate with all technical teams to ensure the integrity of technical designs and features within the platform

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering • At least 10+ years of IT architecture and devops experience • 6+ years experience managing devops or architecture teams • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark in Scala, Apache Airflow pipelines in Python, Git, SQL, Java • Experience with Microservice Architecture, establishing standardize/reusable architectural patterns, enterprise integration, messaging solutions, Data Architecture • Experience with continuous deployment tools (ie GitLab pipelines), Terraform, Ansible, Bash programming, and Docker/K8sExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to present in front on business users and executive management • Experience with Cloud Native Applications, preferably in AWS • Certification for AWS • Master’s degree in Computer Science • Experience with SBT (build tool)
