Description

• Set the technical direction of the company. • Explore and implement generative AI solutions for our service offerings. • Apply off-the-shelf tools, APIs, or custom software to automate manual processes. • Implement best practices in software security and ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA. • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can improve our capabilities. • If there are other aspects of the company you’re interested in working on, we’d love to involve you!

Requirements

• Some amount of software engineering experience. • Experience with software development fundamentals: scripting, APIs, version control, object-oriented programming, etc. • Interest in applying AI in business and operational contexts (prior AI experience is not strictly required) • Ability to work in person at least 4 days per week on average in NYC or San Francisco • Entrepreneurial spirit: self-starting, scrappy, growth mindset, ability to collaborate with a team, comfort with ambiguity and constant change • 2+ years of software engineering experience. But, we’re prioritizing the fit of the individual over the years of work experience. • Experience streamlining/automating manual workflows • Experience working at a startup • Experience building a tech-enabled service • Experience applying AI in business and operational contexts, including RAG apps, prompt engineering, AI pipelines, etc. (foundational AI experience not necessary) • Experience building products or services in the healthcare industry, or even better, healthcare revenue cycle management
