Marketing

Marketing Manager for multichannel initiatives at Practising Law Institute.

• In conjunction with the Associate Director of Marketing, create, implement and lead multichannel marketing efforts in assigned product lines and practice area(s) and understand program and product performance to achieve budgetary goals, including segmenting to retail customers to help drive new business.
• Understand and utilize key tools of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot for segmentation, and for building emails and landing pages.
• Communicate regularly with key stakeholders across the organization, including program attorneys, publishing and membership staff to align on marketing efforts, budget-to-actual numbers, internal and external mailing lists, digital marketing opportunities, and more.
• Create, maintain and edit CMS pages.
• Write, edit and proofread promotional copy as required.
• Develop creative sale and valued customer promotions to increase revenue throughout the year.
• Gain an understanding of available information and bring a data-driven perspective to inform and guide marketing strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on effectiveness of marketing initiatives to develop insights and make recommendations for future planning.
• Ensure PLI brand guidelines are maintained and provide input on the look and feel of marketing vehicles to ensure strong alignment with our offering(s).
• Adhere to deadlines to ensure that all campaigns are executed by scheduled date.
• Communicate with third party resources to identify promotional opportunities and relationships as well as negotiate marketing partnerships for advertising/insertions/listings to promote PLI products.

Marketing Manager 

Collaborative software development and integration for PLI's innovative legal resources.

• Collaborate with agile team to gather requirements, refine user stories and create solutions.
• Deliver both functional and non-functional requirements; drive and execute user stories through completion.
• Perform hands on design and implementation using the appropriate programming languages and development tools/framework/platform.
• Integrate on-premise and SasS applications.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Work with DevOps to ensure the continuous delivery of software via the CI/CD process.

Design Operations Manager 

Attorney

Manage continuing education credit-related customer inquiries for a legal education nonprofit.

• The Legal Accreditation Coordinator will play a key role in managing and responding to continuing education (CE) credit-related customer inquiries.
• Work closely with the Continuing Education Technical Solutions Manager in managing day-to-day aspects of CE credit-related inquiries.
• Provide technical support to customers to resolve system issues and handle escalated inquiries.

Legal Accreditation Coordinator 

Sales

• Attain sales targets and quotas on a quarterly basis
• Grow Membership revenue by targeting Federal, State and Local government agencies
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with attorneys and training professionals
• Build and manage a sales pipeline of prospects for PLI products and services
• Tailor presentations to the unique needs of the prospective account
• Forecast sales revenue on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Complete weekly sales performance reports and complete all Salesforce.com reporting in a timely and accurate manner
• Present value propositions and offerings to prospects and new clients
• Drive sales process by collaborating with internal stakeholders and customers to effectively close new client deals
• Assist with the implementation and roll-out of subscriber agreements
• Demonstrate an excellent ability to meet the demands of selling within the government sector
• Exhibit a deep knowledge of PLI Products, as well as the legal profession
• Bring experience and understanding of government sales processes via RFP and RFI, and other attributes of successfully selling in the government market
• Occasional travel as required
