Description
• The Accounts Payable Specialist 2 will play a pivotal role in handling internal and external communications to ensure the timely processing and payment of invoices. • This role will assist with preparing documentation for external auditors, own parts of the month end close process and develop SOPs of processes to support scalability and accountability as we continue to grow. • Additionally, they’ll also maintain, analyze and cross check cost reports for designated general ledger accounts. • The Accounts Payable Specialist 2 will report into the Accounts Payable Manager.
Requirements
• You have 3+ years of accounts payable experience (preferably in the Consumer Goods industry) • You have experience working in NetSuite, Excel, and Google Sheets (Coupa knowledge is a plus!) • You are an owner - oriented and a natural collaborator. • You always put the customer at the center of your decision-making matrix • You are quick to react to new information and you apply strong intuition in decision-making, considering both short-term and long-term impacts • You’re a proactive self-starter, constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and solutions • You have excellent problem-solving skills and can prioritize tasks effectively. • You’re a strong communicator and give feedback directly and often, always leading with empathy.
