Description

• Own the end-to-end Thimble Broker experience for assigned agents, brokers, and other distribution partners. • Act as Brand Champion and trusted advisor among agents and industry professionals. • Generate opportunities to acquire new business and re-engage dormant agencies through business development activities initiated with assigned agents and brokers. • Proactively source and launch new partnerships with independent agents and brokers. • Onboard all new organic agency partnerships within a defined region. • Partner with Regional BDM to execute tactical sales plan to achieve pre-determined goals. • Maintain a minimum of 15 high-quality, proactive agency (virtual) visits per week with key staff and agency leadership. • Successfully document and track sales activities within CRM platform (SugarCRM). • Pipeline broker-led affinity partnerships, endorsed programs, and potential book consolidations for large-scale, strategic growth opportunities. • Leading onboarding, engagement, and product-specific webinars to regional agency plant. • Activating our broker network through account management operations such as obtaining agency intelligence and managing producer and agency code structures and hierarchies. • Collaborate with various teams to inform and influence the Commercial Insurance product and go-to-market roadmap based on a clear understanding of what brokers need from Thimble to become an even more effective partner.

Requirements

• Licensed Property & Casualty Producer. • CIC, CPCU, P&C License, or other industry designations preferred. • 2+ years of sales/distribution experience within the P&C insurance industry; small commercial highly preferred. • Proven success of virtual account management. • Business development and account management capabilities, including multi-tasking, prioritization, deadline management, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to proactively structure work and problem-solve independently. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. • Ability to stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the local and regional insurance marketplace. • Proficient Microsoft Office skills with the ability to learn new software and in-house platforms. • Stellar prospecting and networking skills. • Highly organized and self-motivated with attention to detail and operational focus. • Able to assert discretion and professionalism when given access to confidential and private information. • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
