Description
• Support internal and external technology needs • Plan/implement technology infrastructure with IT manager • Take primary responsibility for data product delivery • Manage proprietary databases consisting of company financial items, big data, and macroeconomic data • Monitor and maintain company’s front end portal and provide recommendations for improvement • Enhance internal daily/weekly/monthly data update cycles and related workflows • Assist senior analysts in all phases of equity research, with growing responsibility in data analysis area
Requirements
• BA/BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • One to two years of work experience optional • Expertise in networking and deployment of technology • Some programming/computational background (SAS, Python, VBA, C++) preferred but not required • Extremely strong work ethic and willingness to accept senior analysts’ guidance • Must be able to handle multiple projects and interact with salespersons and associates at all levels • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
