Description

• Serve as a primary contact for employee inquiries and provide proactive and personalized support on a variety of People related matters. • Facilitate global new hire onboarding and ensure all employee data is accurately processed in the HR systems. • Manage notifications and tracking of employee data changes including communications with other departments, completing checklists, and updating systems for hires, departures, consultants, department updates, transfers and manager changes. • Work directly with new hires to answer pre-hire and day-one questions and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. • Provide operational support and expertise to People team on both cyclical and ad hoc HR processes including Onboarding, Offboarding, Performance Management, DEIB, Recognition, Employee Experience, etc. • Manage the new hire and annual background check processes, ensuring the proper checks are completed timely and accurately. • Assist with the development and facilitation of HR workshops including new hire orientation. • Analyze existing People programs/processes/systems to identify improvement opportunities. Suggest, and seek input on, these innovation opportunities across the People function. • Assist with the coordination of employee engagement activities and events. • Support employee immigration requirements –monitoring visa expiry dates and taking initiative to ensure proper work documents are in place and/or renewed, etc. • Respond to employment verification requests and work with compliance for regulatory related reference checks. • Be an expert on the HR systems and technology we use across the firm. Seek new and innovative ways to work with them. • Take on additional duties proactively as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Psychology, Business, or related field • Minimum 1 year of professional HR experience or Internship • Excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills • Proactive, collaborative and possesses a can-do attitude • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) • High level of discretion and maintain confidentiality of all sensitive matters
