Description

• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, providing guidance and resolution in a timely manner. • Coordinate and execute the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including, pre-employment background checks, I-9 completion, new hire paperwork, and orientation sessions. • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless new hire transitions from pre-onboarding through the first 30 days of employment. • Manage the offboarding process by ensuring departing employees receive all required paperwork and collaborating with necessary stakeholders to manage system access and retrieve company property. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS/PEO system, including processing new hires, employee changes, and terminations. • Act as the primary point of contact between our PEO and employees, addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner. • Facilitate Open Enrollment process including plan renewals and communication to employees. • Process and administer leave-of-absences requests and disability paperwork. • Process annual reporting requirements, including EEO-1 reporting. • Draft employee verification letters, confirming necessary employment information. • Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and state legal requirements (wage rate notices, labor law posters, setting up new hire and annual harassment training, etc). • Handle immigration processes and paperwork for employees requiring visas or work authorization, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. • Collaborate with the office team to plan and execute company outings, events, and employee recognition programs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations. Office management experience a plus • Experience managing an HRIS platform. PEO experience a plus • This role requires a high level of professionalism and diplomacy working with highly confidential information • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks and projects • Excellent organization skills with great attention to detail • Strong EQ, verbal and written communication skills • Willing to work in person from our Midtown Manhattan office 5 days a week • Experience working at a high growth startup or fast paced environment is preferred
