Administrative Assistant

Support operations at a leading business management firm for entertainers and executives.

• The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks to support the operations of their assigned division or partner(s).

Consult on client tax issues and handle income tax audits for an entertainment management firm.

• The Internal Tax Manager is responsible for consulting with Firm partners, managers and staff on client tax issues
• Handle/assist with income tax audits
• Provide support to Staff, Managers and Managing Directors by fielding questions, conducting research and acting as subject matter expert
• Assist in handling tax notices and audits with Staff and Managers
• Monitor new tax developments and provide guidance about them to the Firm

Internal Tax Manager - Research and Audit

• Provide support to Staff, Managers and Managing Directors by fielding questions, conducting research and acting as subject matter expert
• Assist in handling tax notices and audits with Staff and Managers
• Review and possible preparation of moderate to complex, multi-state tax returns (individual, S corporation, C corporation, partnership, estate, and trusts)
• Assist in the planning/executing/administration of Firm trainings to educate Staff, Managers and Managing Directors on tax issues related to the industry to meet CPE requirements
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Internal Tax Manager

• Preparation and review of complex, multi-state tax returns (individual, S corporation, C corporation, partnership, estate and trusts)
• Stay abreast of changing state and federal laws, policies, economic/political climate which may affect clients’ finances
• Supervise and review Staff's preparation of moderately complex tax returns
• Conduct tax research and multi-jurisdictional planning
• Act as a coach and trainer to develop staff members into efficient and effective client team members, and address performance issues and concerns as needed
• Assist partners in identifying and onboarding prospective clients
• Support Account Managers to provide highest level of customer service by assisting with contracts, budgeting, home purchases, tours, and year-end
• Other projects and duties as assigned
