Description

• Responsible for leading and oversee the zone’s SOX compliance efforts by collaborating with local controllership teams, business leads, process owners, and internal /external audit. • Close monitoring and coordination with the local SOX process owners to ensure satisfactory SOX testing grades • Drive SOX compliance across the zone, educate, consult, evaluate, advise process owners, update the internal SOX controls, and risk mitigation. • Maintain an adequate and updated internal control environment for the assigned zone. • Oversee the zone’s quarterly SOX certification process. • In charge of facilitating, coordinating and compiling the information and documentation to be provided to the SOX testers (internal and external) • Manage and continuously leverage the SOX management software (AuditBoard) • Lead initiatives to improve internal controls, including deployment of systems, tools and other activities to become a trusted advisor and strategic leader for the organization. • Draft, update, train, and communicate new accounting and control policies applicable to the region

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of directly relevant experience across technology, financial, and operational SOX compliance. • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting, audit, finance, business, information systems, or a related field. • Big four or similar public, client-service assurance/advisory/SOX experience. • Relevant certification(s) - CIA, CISA, CPA/CA, or other relevant certifications • Strong knowledge of services/systems prevalent in large-scale public technology/e-commerce organizations (including SAP, Oracle & Hyperion) • Knowledge of current and emerging industry trends, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., COSO). • GAAP and PCAOB audit standards and SEC reporting experience are required. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this position will involve frequent, direct interaction with senior executives. • Successful experience developing and fostering high-performing teams to address complex issues within large/complex organizations. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally – the role may require up to 40% travel. • The ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
